This week we are talking all about why you need a tribe, a group of people who surround you and support you.
You’ve heard the Jim Rohn saying I’m sure… you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
But it really is true.
If you spend your time surrounded by people who bring you down or poo-poo your idea, then it will make it much harder to push ahead.
That doesn’t mean that you need to be surrounded by positive people at all times.
Instead, you need people who will be honest with you. Who will tell you when you are doing something silly, who will be critical, but from a place of love.
People who will really push you to be your best.
So, who are these people?
– They might be family members or friends
If you are lucky enough to have a group of close friends who understand what you do in business, then this is definitely an option.
– It might be a free mastermind group
You might have a group of other business owners who get together with you and support you. This can work really well in both a local, face to face or online format… but it can take some work to find the right group of people who are committed to making it work.
– You might join a paid group.
This could be a small group coaching program, a private mastermind, or a membership program (like the Get Real Business Academy )
At the end of the day, as with everything, there isn’t a right or a wrong… but it’s about finding a group of people, in a way that works for you.
Have you found your tribe?
I’d love to hear all about it. Drop a comment below and tell us everything.
