Do you want your content to be engaging…?
Silly question right?! Of course you want your content to be engaging.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a Facebook post, a blog or part of your course, you want your content to be engaging.
And the easiest way to do that?
Get them to take action.
Call to actions are nothing new – we know that we are supposed to use them at the bottom of our blog posts or on our Facebook page… but most people don’t take that concept and apply it to ALL of their content, including their course.
A call to action, is simply a point where you ask the reader to do something. “Enter your name and email” “Subscribe now” “Share this post”… the list is endless.
So how do we apply that to our course to make it engaging?
By simply asking the student to take action.
Create points after each chunk of content where you ask the student to take action. Ask them to comment, ask them to come and share in a group, ask them to test a concept… ask them to take action.
Think about how you can apply this to your content today.
Where are you going to add a call to action?
I haven’t been adding calls to action consistently. However, I am committed to doing so now. I also have added a call to action in my podcast outro just in case I forget.
So simple but ohhhh so important. Rmembering not to ask them to do too many things is just as important.
Very true Brenda 🙂
One simple call to action is powerful… several would be overwhelming.
